Programs

Little Sharks (children ages 5-14, male and female)

Our children’s Jiu-Jitsu program encourages confidence, discipline, and respect for yourself, your body, and others. The kids learn effective and non-confrontational skills to use in various situations. Our classes are formatted around fun activities intermixed with techniques. The kids are taught to encourage their peers and build up each other in the learning process. Your children will have fun while learning self-defense skills and engaging in healthy activities.

Women’s Self-Defense

The womens self-defense class is ran by Kris Stefanac. The class is taught by women for women only. The classes run on saturdays only from 10:00am-11:00am. Contact Mark or kris for details.

Adult Jiu-Jitsu (male and female, ages 13 and up)

Adult classes encourage learning within the group. As we have mentioned, we are all here to grow and learn together. A variety of students are welcome, to include those interested in recreation, fitness and health, competition, as well as self-defense. We work with you at your level.

Fusion

Fusion is a unique blend of yoga, pilates, and other various exercises. This class will improve your flexibility and core strength. Fusion is also great for those individuals that are looking to relieve some stress.

Open Mat

This time slot is for students to spar (”roll”), drill techniques, and work on specific problem areas.

No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu

This class is run exactly like the Adult Jiu-Jitsu classes. The only exception is that students do not wear a Gi for this class. The No-Gi class teaches students how to deal with an attacker if they do not have any clothes to grab on to. This class is also popular among athletes who are looking to compete in grappling tournaments and/or mixed martial arts.
